Brahmi Dosage And Use

If you are going to use the extracted juice of Brahmi, then consume an amount is between four to twelve ml grown-ups and about two to four ml for infants between 6-12 years old. It is not recommended to be given to children less than 6 years old, not to interfere with normal brain and mental growth. There is a 20% extract of Brahmi, including type A & B of Bacosides. This extract can be consumed by adult in a dosage of 200-400 mg a day, and 100-200 mg for children. Brahmi also can be used by boiling in with tea.

As most of the herbal treating family, Brahmi has no significant side effects. You may suffer from a stomachache, but it does not always happen. As a precaution, it is not advised to use Brahmi if you are taking birth-control pills.
